Snowflake Card

This card not only would make a beautiful Christmas card, but could be used for other occasions this winter.  It uses the Snowflake Medallion die set from Spellbinders and the new Martha Stewart String Lace corner and border punches.  I also used her Deco Shell corner punch.  I really like using white on white, and  the layers were all popped up making each layer more visible.  The snowflake was finished off with Stardust Stickles.

Christmas Card Time

It is definitely time to be working on Christmas cards.  If you haven’t started, it’s not too late.  There are lots of ideas and choices in the store.  I have a wide selection of holiday stamps.  This card uses paper that isn’t designed as Christmas paper.  The red pattern is from American Crafts (you may see it again in a few weeks used on Valentine cards), and the dot paper is from Bo-Bunny.  Of course, I used Nestibilities dies to cut the scalloped ovals.

Countdown Christmas Tree

As promised, here is a picture of Saturday’s class project.  This tree comes with a set of numbers so you can count down the days until Christmas.  Check your email newletter from Sunday for details.  This is a fun Christmas decoration you’ll use year after year.

The paper packs from BoBunny are here.  These packs contain 50 sheets of paper, stickers, and embellishments worth $75.00.  All this for only $10.00.  That works out to $.17 an item.  If you know someone getting into scrapbooking or other paper arts, these would make a great Christmas gift.  There are four different packs, and supplies are limited.  Stop in soon!!

Christmas Ornament

This is one of the ornaments that we’ll be doing in the class Saturday.  It’s amazing what you can do with the Spellbinder dies.  There are still places left in this class, so don’t miss out.

Thanksgiving Cards

Here are the two Thanksgiving cards we’ll be doing in class this Saturday.  We’ll be using stamps from JustRite on the two cards.  The card on the right is an easel card.  If you haven’t done one of these, they’re fun, easy, and fold flat for mailing.  We’ll also be making two ornaments and two pyramid boxes that can look like either an icicle or tree.  (We’ll do both.)  Cost for the class is $20.00 and includes a $10.00 store credit.  Please bring small scissors, tape runner or Zip Dry glue, mounting tape, and ScorTape ( or red liner tape).  Prepayment at time of registration is required.  Please stop by the store, or phone with cc#.

More Peg Stamp Cards

These are the remaining two cards for the class this Saturday.  Unfortunately, the class is full.  However, I have more of the stamp sets coming next week and if you would like to take the class, call me at the store and I’ll try to work in another class during the week.  These stamp sets are so easy and fun to use.  They are addictive and, of course, the more sets you have, the more variety.  You may not be able to see that I have used several different embossing folders, Nestibilities dies, and Martha Stewart punches, but they add a lot to the cards.  The card on the left is waiting for the sentiment to be stamped in the oval.
