New Class

I have had requests for a class in Embossing Paste, so next Saturday,  March  5th,  there will be a class in this different way to use your metal templates.  We will learn the correct way to apply the paste, and use different pastes for different looks.  We’ll use inks to color our work.  This card is one that we will do.  Class meets from 10:00 until noon, and the cost is $22.00.  You will need to bring adhesive,  small scissors,  and a palette knife to class.  Palette knives are available for purchase at the store.  This class will be limited in size to 4, so email or call to reserve your place.  Class participants will take home a metal template from the class.

All adhesives are 30% off this week, so this is a good time to stock up.  I have a shipment of Martha Stewart punches and the new colors of Stickles coming tomorrow.  Also in the new category, new Sizzix embossing folders are coming tomorrow.  They have released some really nice  designs.  If you like to use embossing folders, you might want to check these out!  So stop by the store and see what’s new.

New Cards

Here are a couple of new cards that will find their way into the military kits.  You can see the embossing on the card on the left, and I just can’t seem to do a card without a Martha Stewart punch.  The sentiments are from Hero Arts.

I just got in an order from JustRite Stampers.  There is one new set of their stamps, and three sets of cling stamps designed to go with Spellbinders Nestibilities.  More new designs will be released next month, and I’ll be getting those, too.

Can you believe it, more Military Cards?

These cards are a couple of new designs that will be found in the military kits.  The one on the left uses stamps from Hero Arts and Spellbinder Nestibilities dies.  The other one also uses a Hero Arts stamp and a Martha Stewart corner punch, one of my favorites.  Keep watching the blog, I have new stamps from JustRite Stamps coming this week.  Hopefully,  I’ll get some samples done with them.  They have just released clear stamps that match the Nestibilities.

Another New Card for the Military

This is another card that will be appearing in the military kits.  It uses a stamp by Hero Arts  a punch by Martha Stewart, and Spellbinders Label 4.  All of these are available in the store.   This card would be nice sent to either a man or a woman for a variety of occasions.

I expect to get the new Spellbinder dies in the store in the next couple of weeks.  They are to “die” for.  If you have seen some that you know you want, call me to reserve them.  I think these will go fast, and I may have trouble getting more of them.

More New Cards

Just to let you know that I didn’t goof off during the snowdays.  The card on the left is another card that will find it’s way into the military kits.  The light paper is a printed paper, although it doesn’t show very well in the picture.  The corner and border punches are Martha Stewart’s Layered Arches.  As you can tell, I really like this set and use them alot.  The stamped saying is from Hero Arts.  The second card is one made with paper from American Crafts.   The flower is handcut from one of the papers, and yes, that’s the Layered Arches punch again.  This paper is available at the store.  We’re really on a roll with the military kits.  Don’t forget to stop in and get yours soon!

One more card for the Military

This is a new card designed for the military kits.  I’m delighted that so many of you have stopped in and taken kits to finish.   This card uses paper that’s been around for awhile, but I really like the way it turned out.  The card uses a brand new Martha Stewart deep edge punch.  I really like it, too.  The smile stamp is from a clear Hero Arts set.  I’ve been working on card designs at home while I wait for the roads to clear.  I don’t expect to be in the store tomorrow, but Friday I should be open.   Enjoy the snow!!

New Cards

I sent out an email this afternoon with the information for this week.  But, here are two more cards that will appear in the military kits.  The stamp designs are all from Hero Arts.
