Operation Write Home

Although you can’t see individual cards,  this is about one quarter of the cards done for Operation Write Home.  There are approximately 500 cards laid out on the table.  Thanks to all of those who helped in this endeavor.  OWH is fast approaching 1,000,000 cards sent to our military personnel.  Watch for a complete count in a few days.

More of a future Class

Here are two more of the cards that I made from one sheet of printed paper.  Of course, I used another of Martha Stewart’s punches and the corner design is a punch from EK Success.  These are simple designs that can be used over and over.

Somemore Spellbinders designs are arriving tomorrow.

New Iris Stamp

Here is a new stamp of an iris.  What’s great is that there is a die to match the stamp, so you don’t have to cut it out by hand.  The die includes the bud and leaf, too.  The iris is colored with Copic markers, and the corners are punched with Martha Stewart’s Layered Arches corner punch.  It’s hard to see, but the pink paper has a white pattern on it.  My first order of the stamp and die sold out immediately.  I’ll have more in Friday, so if you’re interested, call and reserve yours.

Future Class

Here are two of the 15 cards that I made from just one sheet of daisy paper.  Of course, I used other cardstock, but it is fun to see how many different designs you can get from one sheet.  This is a class that I’ll be offering after Easter.  I’ll post pictures of some of the other cards later, or you can see them all at the store.

Finally, the new Nestibilities from Spellbinder are coming in to the store.  I got in an order today, but they go fast.  Stop in early for the best selection.  Also, I’ve been getting in new stamps that can be cut out with the Spellbinders dies, and these go fast, too.

Black Lace

While we usually think of white lace, black lace can be very dramatic.  This is a very simple card design, but the black lace really spices it up.  This is the Deco Flowers punch set by Martha Stewart.

Butterfly Stamp Card

I really like this butterfly stamp from Hero Arts!  I was playing around with some scraps of paper and came up with this.  Of course, the punch is Martha’s.

Easter Class

These are two of the cards that we’ll be doing this Saturday, April 9th.  We’ll be using the Nestibilities egg dies to cut our eggs, and then we’ll be decorating them for Easter.  We’ll be using several different techniques.  Class meets from 10:00 to noon, and the cost is $15.00.  Please bring small scissors and adhesive.  You may email or call me to reserve your place, but if you email you need to call the store by Tuesday closing to give me a cc# to hold your place.
