Could this be a Man’s Card?

What do you think?  The colors and clean design make it good for a man’s card.  The question is, can we use flowered paper on a man’s card?  Personally, I would send this to a man.  I used paper from Cosmo Cricket, Spellbinders dies, and a stamp from a new set of small sayings from Impression Obsession.

Black and White Card

I do enjoy using a monocromatic color theme.  Here it is black and white.  Since you don’t have to match colors, it is easy to do.

An order from Impression Obsession came today with more of the large tree background stamps and the cloud background stamp.  I also received some beautiful floral papers from K & Co,

For anyone who was interested in the class that was held on Feb. 6th (check the blog for that date),  I will be repeating it this Sat. Feb. 25th at 10:00.  If you would like to be included, please call the store tomorrow so I may prepare for the class.  This is a fnn card and a special one to receive.

Masculine Card

I thought I would give you an idea to use when making a masculine card.  This card uses new plaid and dotted paper from the store.  Use them with a masculine stamp like the antique card, one of my favorites, and you’re all set.

The Dies are here

The new Memory Box dies came in today.  Above are four of them, but there are a lot more.  These are really nice dies and the last order sold very fast.  If you’re interested, hurry in for the best selection.

Card for Saturday’s Class

As promised, here is the card for this Saturday’s class.  As you can see, This card expands and contracts so that it stands by itself, yet easily fits into an envelope.  You will make this card in class and take home a pattern so that you can easily make more, and I think you will want to make lots of them.  Class is this Saturday, Feb. 11th from 10:00 to noon and you will need to bring small scissors, paper trimmer, and favoite adhesive (I used Zip Dry glue).  Cost for the class is $15.00.  Please email or phone to reserve your place.  Please excuse the second photo, the picture yellowed, but you can still see how the card opens.

A New Card

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!  If you aren’t going to watch, here’s a sample card to help spark your creativity.  I don’t plan on watching the game, but I’ll be working on a new card design.  If it works out, I’ll teach it in a class this Saturday.  Watch the blog tomorrow for details.  One clue, it’s a three dimensional card.  As for this card, it’s really simple, but the Spellbinders Fleur di Lis Rectangle die is the Wow Factor.  Don’t forget to watch tomorrow!
