New Thinking of You Card

I’m playing with a new set of Hero Arts stamps.  It comes with four different flower designs.  The thinking of you sentiment is stamped on a die cut made with a set of dies from My Favorite Things.  The background paper is from Studio Calico and adds a subtle design.  The punched strip is a Martha Stewart punch.

Please note that I will be leaving tomorrow for Oklahoma at 2:00.  I will be open until 1:45, if there is anything that you need.  The store will be closed on Monday, and reopen Tuesday, the 3rd.

Merry & Bright Card

I was just playing around with some of the matching papers in the store, and this is what I came up with.  The green and white patterned paper used on the bottom layer, works out perfectly making the pattern look like a stamped border.  Boy, that doesn’t happen very often!!  The stamp is from Hero Arts, and the border punch is by Martha Stewart.

I received notice that my order of Memory Box dies shipped today.  It has the new summer dies, as well as some of the original ones in it.  Watch the blog for news of it’s arrival.

A New Christmas Card

It took me awhile to come up with this card.  I was trying to use the snowflake paper and tried several ideas before this one.  I really like how the green die cut mirrors the snowflake in the paper.  It is a Spellbinder die from the Parisian set, and the Joy is a sticker.  So if your first ideas doesn’t work, keep trying.

The Fifth Military Card

Here is the last card in the Operation Write Home kit.  It uses dies to cut the circles, and stamps from Hero Arts.  Thanks to all of you who have picked up kits already.

Also above, is a picture of the Summer Distress Ink Pad colors.  As I said in the last post, I have a limited number of these sets, and since they are limited in production, I doubt if I will be able to order more.  Hurry in to pick up your set!

Stamp Club Fun!

The new Stamp Club met yesterday, and had a really great time making their own Washi Tape.  You can see the cards they made using it in the pictures.  This group has been meeting since January and having fun and learning a lot.  If you’re interested in joining a stamp club, let me know and I’ll organize another one.

The last picture is the fourth card in the military kit.  The fifth and last card will be posted tomorrow.  Also, the Summer Distress Ink pads arrived today.  I’ll post the picture of the colors tomorrow.  These are limited edition and I won’t be able to get more when I run out.  Give me a call at the store, or email me if you want a set, and I’ll hold it for you.

Another Kit Card

This is the third card in the new military kit.  I’m using up some paper by Kaiserkraft, and the sentiment stamp is by Art Impressions.  The border punch is a Martha Stewart punch and, unfortunately, the pine cone stamp has been discontinued for many years.

Another Kit Card

Here is the second card for the Military Card Kit.  Of course, I had to use a Spellbinder Fancy Tag and a Martha Stewart border punch.  The Joy is stamped and heat embossed using a Hero Arts stamp.  For those of you interested, I will have kits available tomorrow.
