Halloween Make & Take

This is a cute little Halloween card using the new Ghost die set from Memory Box.  The sentiment is a stamp, also from Memory Box.  It’s designed so that the largest ghost holds the card shut.  Stop in the store, if you’d like to make one of these cards.

I’ve been going through old magazines lately, and I came across a letter sent to a magazine by a stamp manufacturer discussing what products should not be used to clean stamps.  Many people recommend using baby wipes, and I knew that you should not use them if they contain alcohol.  What I learned from this letter was that you also should not use them if they contain lanolin.  Lanolin will make the rubber soft and sticky.  So if you’re using baby wipes, you might want to check what’s in them.  I have a cleaner that does an unbelieveable job.  It even cleans the stains from the rubber and conditions it, too.  By the way, it works on solvent inks as well.

Santa’s Sleigh

Sorry about the email last night.  I don’t know why the picture didn’t send, but if you’d like to see it, just go to the blog.  In the meantime, I had a few minutes today, and I put the above card together.  The paper is from Graphic 45 and the stamp is one from Seredipity.  I was happy with the way this turned out.

There are still some of the latest Make n’ Take left.  It’s the Panda card ( look back a week on the blog for the picture).  I like these make n’ takes because they’re like a mini class.  There is always something in them to learn, and, of course, it’s free!  Stop in soon.

Flowering Tree Die

hp photosmart 720This card is made with the Flowering Christmas Tree die by Memory Box.  I just cut it twice from green and red paper.  After gluing the green tree to the card, I cut the flowers from the red die cut and glued them onto the green tree.  It really didn’t take all that long.

Winter Dies

I thought I would post some more pictures of some of the other Memory Box dies.  These aren’t the brand new ones, but for many of you they may be new.  There are two snowflakes, the flower tree and swirl tree, and the snowflake border.  If you like some of these, they can be mailed very inexpensively.  Email me or call the store.

New Dies

I have been asked to post pictures of some of the new Memory Box dies.  Most of the pictures are of two dies.  The packages overlap, but each package is sold separately.  Because these dies can be mailed in just an envelope, mailing costs are very low.  If you’re interested in any of these dies and can’t get to the store, call or email me, and I would be happy to send them to you.

New Make & Take Card

Yea!  The Impression Obsession order arrived today,  and this is the Make ‘n’ Take card this month.  Stop in the store and you can make this card and take it home with you.  The best thing is “It’s free.”  There are a limited number of cards, so stop in soon.  I ordered a lot of new Cover-a-Card stamps.  These are 5.5 x 5.5 size background stamps.  They are cling, without a wood mount, so they are less expensive.  They can be combined on the same card to make really nice backgounds.  Easy to store and easy to use.  This order also has the stamps from the beach card from last month.  Stop in to play soon!

Happy Birthday Card

Just a simple card using up some older Basic Grey paper and one of my favorite Spellbinders dies.  Also, I still have a nice selection of Memory Box dies, and I just got in another order of the new dies.  If you haven’t seen them, stop by to take a look.  I have a lot of the magnetic die cases and extra magnetic sheets in the store now.
