Pop Up Card

I just had to play with a new Sizzix die that I got this week. The die cuts the card and the pop up mechanism. I used the Studio Calico paper that I’ve been playing with along with the Hero Arts stamped flower and leaves to decorate the card. Circle die cuts and a Martha Stewart border punch complete the card. Once you have the base die, there are other dies that cut different pop up designs. Watch the blog for more examples. This is a really easy way to make pop ups.

Don’t forget that there is a Make n’ Take card to do at your convenience, and that there is still a nice selection of Copic markers for 30% off. That makes the price only $4.90 each. Stop by your independently owned paper arts store to see what’s new. And, if you live out of town and like what you see, I would be happy to mail it to you. Just email or call the store (501-525-7826).

Daisy Card

I have really gotten hooked on this daisy stamp by Hero Arts. If you follow the blog, you’ve seen it before. I also like the way this printed paper by Studio Calico works. If you’re interested, I will have some of these cards for sale in the store. They’ll be stamped for birthday, thank you, get well, and general use. The price will be $2.00.

Don’t forget that the Genius platforms have arrived. These magnetic platforms for most crank die cutting machines make your die cutting a breeze. They go fast, so get yours soon!

New Make and Take

Hooray, the Impression Obsession order finally arrived. This is the new Make n’ Take card. This sweet card could be used for alot of different occasions, so stop in to make yours.

The order of Genius platforms for your die cutting machine also came in today. While it is a rather large order, these always go fast. In fact, quite a few have already been spoken for. If you’re interested, don’t delay.

There are new dies in the IO order. In fact, I rearranged the wall to make room for all the dies. If dies are your passion, you need to take a look at all of the ones in the store. See you soon!

Flying By

This card uses a clear stamp set that I’ve been wanting to try out. Besides the plane and clouds, it also has a hot air balloon. I used a Memory Box die for the treeline. I think it works for both a child or adult.
New dies arrived today from My Favorite Things. There is a really cute basket with a bow, egg, and bunny. A second die makes a box to go between two of the baskets so goodies can be added. Just too cute. I hope to get one done to post soon.
If you’re thinking about adding to your Copic collection, stop by soon. They are being scooped up rather quickly, but still a lot of great colors left.
